MARK XTC

Mark XTC is a legendary UK DJ, producer, and educator whose influence spans over three decades of British dance music. Hailing from Manchester, he helped shape the sound of hardcore, jungle, drum & bass, and UK garage from their earliest days. In the 1990s, Mark worked at the iconic Eastern Bloc Records, a cornerstone of the UK rave scene, where he became a trusted tastemaker and musical mentor to many. 

A regular DJ at the legendary Haçienda, Mark XTC played a central role in bringing rave culture to the North of England, also making his mark at seminal events like Helter Skelter, Fantazia, and Dreamscape. His high-energy sets and razor-sharp mixing have earned him respect on dancefloors around the world.  As part of the pioneering group Mix Factory, and later as a solo artist, Mark helped drive forward the evolution of UK electronic music. He’s collaborated with major names including Marcus Intalex, MC Tunes, and Goldie, contributing to the foundation and future of drum & bass and beyond.  In addition to his work as an artist, Mark is a passionate educator, regularly mentoring and teaching the next generation of DJs and producers. With deep roots and a forward-facing spirit, Mark XTC remains a true ambassador for UK dance music culture.
