The Freestylers Aston Harvey and Matt Cantor have been at the forefront of electronic dance music for nearly three decades. From global festival stages to appearances on Top of the Pops, they’ve consistently evolved without losing their edge. Aston started as a producer for Rebel MC / Congo Natty, while Matt co-produced the hit “U Sure Do” with Strike. Their shared love of hip-hop and breakbeats led to the formation of The Freestylers. Their debut album, featuring hits like “B-Boy Stance” and “Ruffneck”, earned them international acclaim and a U.S. record deal, alongside a spot on Lenny Kravitz’s tour and a legendary Glastonbury 1999 performance. Over the years, they've delivered global anthems like “Push Up” (a #1 hit in Australia, Holland, and Belgium) and “Cracks”, a dubstep classic with 80+ million streams. They've collaborated with Pendulum and held residencies worldwide. Their 2025 release, Enter the Sound, will feature collaborations with reggae legends like General Levy and Tippa Irie.Still going strong, the Freestylers continue to lead the charge in electronic music with a packed schedule of festivals, remixes, and fresh releases.
