Plavka is a multi-talented songwriter, producer, vocalist, and DJ whose career has shaped the evolution of electronic music. Plavkla trained as a classical vocalist before moving to London, where she became the lead singer for the acid-house band The Shamen. In 1993, she joined forces with German trance duo Jam & Spoon, lending her voice to the hit “Right in the Night (Fall in Love with Music)”, which topped charts across Europe and earned Platinum in Australia. Throughout the '90s, Plavka continued shaping the duo’s sound on tracks like “Find Me”, “Angel”, and “Kaleidoscope Skies”, while earning MTV Europe Music Award nominations and performing on shows like Top of the Pops. Today, Plavka channels her rich legacy into fresh creations, with her 2025 release “Strap Me In” marking her evolution into tech- and bass-house. With decades of influence in trance and dance, she remains a versatile and enduring force in electronic music.
